The new year has arrived and I think it would be safe to say that during this month most people are self reflecting on the past year and have hopes to strive for a better, more healthier lifestyle. Travis and I thought it would be appropriate to give you guys an EP that could help push you to achieve those goals. This EP has an upfront message written from three different perspectives. The truth is terrifying but sometimes we need to hear it as it is in order for it to motivate us to change.

Addictions: Through the making of album Travis was sick with the flu, had pink eye and had the worst sore throat. This put him on edge some nights and screwed with his creativity. Travis and I both know that the complications and weird vibes we got throughout the process of recording this EP were the acts of a fallen angel. But we pressed on. All in all we hope this album speaks to you guys whether you are a believer or not. Addictions are real and we are your friends.

Addict: This track revealed flaws in the both of us, because we too, are addicted to things. The listener gets to hear from the 'addicts' point of view. In this song, we wanted to paint the true emotion in the struggle of admitting to something embarrassing but looking in a positive direction with eyes of realization.

Answer: After spending a significant amount of time trying to write the lyrics for this song it only made sense to let this song be instrumental. We hope to convey the message so strongly in the first two songs that by the time the listener gets to the last track, they should already know what the answer is. The task for this track was more on how to create something emotional, something that sets the tone for the listener to confirm their decision.
